Leaked Document Reveals Investigations into Sexual Acts within Parliament House

The friendlyjordies team have been provided with documentation that detail investigations into alleged sexual acts within Parliament House and specifically within the APH Prayer Room.

The Sparke Helmore Investigation

Following the airing of allegations by Tom the Whistleblower regarding a staffer of the Liberal National Party masturbating onto a female staffer's desk, amongst claims other sexual behaviour within Parliament House, the Department of Finance commissioned law firm Sparke Helmore to investigate the claims. The firm has received more than $162 million from the Morrison government.

The friendlyjordies team have been informed that Tom agreed to participate with Sparke Helmore's investigation and as part of this process he signed a confidentiality clause. Although the investigation was described as "independent", the friendlyjordies team have been informed that Tom was sceptical of this as when he offered photographic evidence to backup his claims, Sparke Helmore stated that they were not accepting evidence.

Media coverage of the report's findings noted that claims of rent boys being procured for male MP were not substantiated as "a search of parliamentary sign in records has found no evidence that a sex worker was ever signed into the building," but conceded that the allegation that a male Coalition staffer masturbated on a desk "is not in dispute" as "photographic evidence of this activity was offered to investigators in support of the claim."

With the investigation completed, the Department of Finance offered the following statement on the 2nd of March 2022:

On 13 April 2021, the Department of Finance issued a statement confirming that the office of the Minister for Finance referred a number of workplace allegations to the Department that were first aired on Channel 10 on 22 March 2021. Finance engaged an independent investigator to examine the allegations. This investigation has now been finalised. For privacy reasons, Finance cannot comment further on this matter.

Alleged Events Documented as part of the Sparke Helmore Investigation

Below are a number of copied examples of alleged events or issues investigated as part of the Sparke Helmore Investigation.*

Alleged Event / Issue:

Alleged procurement of male escort / sex worker and facilitating sexual intercourse and/or interactions in APH

Persons Involved:

Mr Winn, Mr Pyne MP, Mr Newbury MP, Mr Farmer

Details:

Mr Pyne MP had staffers assist in the procurement of male escorts or sex workers that were arranged to attend APH for the purpose of engaging in sexual intercourse and/or interactions.

This was initially coordinated and facilitated by Mr Newbury MP while working for Mr Pyne MP and then the coordination of arrangements was undertaken by Mr Winn from around 2015 (this included messaging Mr Farmer to arrange encounters and signing him into – as well as accompanying him – through APH).

Mr Farmer was known to Mr Winn and Mr Pyne MP as they would allegedly attend dinner parties together at Mr Winn’s residence in Canberra from time to time.

The friendlyjordies team has seen no evidence whatsoever to back up these allegations.

Alleged Event / Issue:

Sexual intercourse and/or interactions in an APH bathroom between Mr Winn and Mr B.

Details:

Mr Winn and Mr B. engaged in message correspondence and shared explicit and intimate pictures (potentially online dating / social media profile). These were shared by Mr Winn to the Informant. Mr Winn conveyed that he and Mr B. met up in a bathroom in APH and engaged in sexual intercourse and/or interactions.

This is significant as Mr. B is a staffer under Dave Sharma. Mr. Sharma had previously stated following the initial media coverage of the allegations of sexual behaviours within Parliament House that "he discussed the matter with his staff and was confident none were involved."

Alleged Event / Issue:

Sexual intercourse and/or interactions in APH between Mr Wilson MP and another (unidentified) male

Details:

The Informant and Mr Winn were having lunch at APH and decided to attend the APH Prayer Room to engage in sexual intercourse and/or interactions. When they arrived at the Prayer Room, they saw Mr Wilson MP and another male individual exiting; the Informant formed the view that they appeared to have been interrupted or otherwise had recently engaged in sexual intercourse and/or interactions. Mr Winn acknowledged and briefly greeted Mr Wilson MP and appeared to know the other person. All individuals subsequently exited the Prayer Room.

The friendlyjordies team has seen no evidence whatsoever to back up these allegations.

Sparke Helmore and the Morrison Government

As reported by Callum Foote for Michael West Media, Sparke Helmore has "close ties" with the Liberal National Party. Special council Nell McGill is running as a Liberal Party candidate in the electorate of Shortland, NSW.

Sparke Helmore has been awarded more than 860 contracts by the Australian federal government since 2018. These contracts saw a significant spike in 2019-20, with the firm winning $72 million contracts. Of these, $44 million were awarded by the Department of Home Affairs.
